Education

Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Construction from Mankato State University in 1980. He is a Licensed Contractor and Realtor in the state of Minnesota.

Paul Anderson founded Consulting Management Construction, Inc. (CMC) in 1992 to provide General Contracting, Construction Management and Consultation services. During the past 25+ years CMC has successfully completed projects for offices, industrial and manufacturing, retail, hospitality and multi-family real estate. CMC provides valuable consulting services for property owners, investors, lenders and developers.

Paul’s business philosophy is founded on a commitment to honesty, quality and reliability. He uses his vast knowledge and experience, along with his concern for the client, to assure the highest level of quality on each project. By evaluating each project from a long term perspective, Paul is able to prevent problems and manage costs by working in partnership with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

As the Owner and President of CMC, Paul oversees all of the day-to-day activities of the company. He meets with each client, listens to their individual needs, tailors the services and assembles a team that will most efficiently meet those needs. Most importantly, Paul stands by his work and the work of his staff.

Professional Background

From 1984 to 1992, Paul was an Assistant Vice President and Project Manager for Welsh Construction Corporation where he was responsible for the coordination of projects ranging from small tenant remodeling to $15 million new development.

Paul worked closely with clients from the proposal stage through project completion. He was involved in all phases of each project, including: government approvals; design; estimating; bidding; proposal evaluations; preparation and issuance of contracts; scheduling; cost projections; and controls; and direction of field personnel.

As a Project Manager and Superintendent for Laukka and Associates from 1980 to 1984, Paul had responsibility for the construction department. He developed the department budget, completed drafting, estimating and bidding projects, supervised field operations and hired construction personnel.
